A Day in Old Town Warsaw

Last week we took our "relief team" out for a
Culture Day.

Old Town is just what you picture a beautiful European city to be.

and enchanting!
Culture days are the BEST!

Brown Eggs?

We wondered if you could dye brown eggs for Easter???

So we bought some
dye and gave it a try...

I think that the black one worked best of all!

but, I was pretty disappointed when the
Easter Bunny didn't hide them
for me.

The Spring Equinox

Today was the day!
Did you remember?

Only 2 days a year can you do this.
It's the equinox----when the center of
the sun is exactly
over the equator.
Amazing!

A Day's Work

Do you have any idea how long it takes to change
a light bulb?
By the time you discuss it, plan it, set up the scaffolding
and climb up...

it could take all day!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

The clouds often cover the sun, but once in awhile you can look out your window and discover a perfect
RAINBOW.

...where troubles melt like
lemon drops.

Meet Anna!
Anna befriended us when we were "strangers in a strange land."

She is truly a "good Samaritan".
Finding us a hotel in Berlin when we were forced to leave Poland to
renew our passports.

...and then giving us a personal tour of that historical city
during the few hours we had to spend there.
We love our new friend!
